Data Deletion

1. Go to ShahiAssist → Settings → Advanced.
2. Enable “Delete plugin data on uninstall”.
3. When uninstalling, all tickets, KB articles, settings, and custom tables are removed.
4. For manual deletion, use the uninstall script in uninstall.php.

Privacy


• ShahiAssist stores user data in compliance with GDPR/CCPA.
• Data includes tickets (with user emails), KB articles, and settings.
• Use WordPress privacy tools to export/erase user data.
• No data is shared externally unless configured (e.g., webhooks).

Backups


• Before any changes, export data using the Export/Import feature.
• Use WordPress backup plugins for full site backups.
• Test restores in a staging environment.
• Retain backups for compliance periods.
